Please review the following sample of my previous work to get a better idea of my design style. A mix of web, print, and video is contained below. Use the arrows to navigate to more samples.
When I design, whether for web or print, I tend to follow the same path. Concepts are hand-drawn on paper to get a general idea of what I want to do. Once I decide on a website layout, I move to PhotoShop and layout the design as one image. Once approved by my client, I use Dreamweaver to code out the page, starting with only HTML structure. From there, I write a CSS stylesheet to apply my design to the code structure. For print projects, the process is similar by drawing out my idea and then using the appropriate Adobe CS app to create the piece. I work best as an individual, but I can also be a contributing part of a team effort.
I believe you should enjoy working with the people working with you. I value a hard work ethic, a good sense of humor, and a dedication to being better, which is why I strive to reflect those qualities as well. My sense of humor is usually dry and sarcastic, with a touch of goofiness covered with cheese. I like talking sports, tv shows, and movies, and participating in recreational sports.
My primary responsibilities are designing new automotive websites utilizing HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Flash, and supporting existing site change requests.
Maintain relationship with Auto Manufacturers to ensure dealer websites are within compliance guidelines. I use JavaScript to globally manage assets on our dealer websites.
Within my total time at Dominion Dealer Solutions, my role shifted to Design Team Leader. For that role, I supervised a team of six web designers, interacted with different departments to resolve issues, and spearheaded initiatives to help make workflow more effective.
My primary duty was to design marketing collateral for the corporate franchise sales force as well as design ads and flyers for GuestHouse franchises to use in their local markets. Other graphic design projects included creating posters and a program guide for the national convention. In addition, I was responsible for managing the corporate and franchise websites, providing technical support, photography, proofreading, and writing content.
As Electronic Communication Coordinator, I was responsible for maintaining the public, corporate internal, and password protected websites. Graphic design and website coding were the skills utilized to achieve my goals. In addition, I supported the Information Systems department with graphic design support. Secondary responsibilities included photography, proofreading, franchise ads, company newsletters, and event coordination.
